StrikeTracker Live Event Provisioning

 

Live Events

When you need to schedule a live event for streaming,
why should you have to place a call to your CDN? While
the professionals in the Highwinds Network Operations
Center would be happy to assist you, we give you self-
service tools for creating and scheduling your own live
events. After all, it’s your event, and you should control
it. Use StrikeTracker to provision a new publishing point
to deliver a live Flash or Windows Media event. Because
events can be created on the fly and used as soon as
they are provisioned, you maintain full control over all
live events.

Live event content is organized into the FMS (for Adobe Flash Media) and WMS (for Microsoft Windows Media) folders in StrikeTracker. You can upload, track, organize, move, delete, and make changes to live events before, after, and even during the event in the StrikeTracker console. With Highwinds real-time reporting capabilities, you can also see analytics such as concurrent viewers during the event.
