RollingThunder Doppler Server
Armed with a whole-network view, RollingThunder Doppler Server helps us guarantee the best user experience by making routing decisions in real time and delivering content through the fastest, most efficient and cost-effective route. RollingThunder Doppler Server finds the best transfer location for every end user route, taking geographic location, network traffic and Quality of Service (QoS) controls into consideration. |

Peering Infrastructure
The RollingThunder network peers with hundreds of other networks, including major ISPs, cable MSOs and telecom companies. By peering with other networks via private fiber and at various exchange points around the world, we are able to provide unparalleled content distribution power, improved network efficiencies and affordability for all customers. |

Quality of Service
QoS control mechanisms are employed in our RollingThunder network to simultaneously carry multiple types of traffic. QoS allows the network to be utilized efficiently and eliminates the need to simply throw bandwidth at content without regard for actual traffic requirements. |

Network Operations Center
Our RollingThunder network is continuously monitored by a seasoned technical operations and support team in our state-of-the-art Network Operations Center (NOC). These individuals are employees of Highwinds who have many years of experience running large IP backbones. In the NOC, intelligent systems monitor bandwidth, packets, errors and other statistics; alerts are provided based on thresholds, rate changes, trends and other metrics. Proactive maintenance is routinely performed to prevent failures. The Highwinds support team is available 24x7x365, and we never outsource our support operations. |
